Julia, T.- International Bipolar Foundation- In 2007, four parents of bipolar children started the International Bipolar Foundation (IBPF). This charity aims to increase understanding, erase stigma, and provide resources regarding bipolar disorder. Programs include free copies and PDFs of "Healthy Living with Bipolar Disorder", World Bipolar Day, Girl Scout's Mental Health Awareness, and an annual essay contest. On GreatNonprofits.com, volunteers and community members gave IBPF a rating of 4.5/5 stars. In 2014, 65% of money raised went to fund program services. In my opinion, International Bipolar Foundation is a credible organization and I would donate money to it.

Albertine, M.- NORTH AMERICAN NETWORK FOR BIPOLAR DISORDERS
This organization is a horrible one to donate money to if you are a person that has bipolar disorder or have family members that have it. They don't raise enough money to even support the organization and they don't uses the money they get wisely. Also, they have been having problems with the IRS and not filling out the 990 form or filing for taxes. They have also also asked for $50,000, but no one knows what the organization did with the money they got.
